Coordinate chemistry and compound testing in small molecule discovery

Coordinate chemistry and compound testing in small molecule discovery

The synthesis and testing of new therapeutic candidates often involves teams of synthetic and medicinal chemists and assay scientists, who can be based across multiple organizations and locations. Coordinating the effort across these teams presents many challenges such as scheduling, information delivery, status updates and resource management.

Torx connects all team members and collaborators across small molecule discovery, providing real-time feedback on the status of compounds submitted for synthesis and biological and physico-chemical assays.

In this webinar, discover how to track the progress and delivery of synthesis targets across all in-house and CRO projects using a visual tracking board. Learn how to set up automatic assay requests for newly synthesized compounds, view the real-time testing status and know when to expect your results. See how to customize tests for specific compounds and manually request follow-up tests.

About the presenters

Simon Lanceron, Application Scientist

Simon has over 12 years’ synthetic chemistry experience across industry and academia, including over 8 years as an insourced Contractor (Kelli Services) and CRO employee (AMRI), working in close collaboration with Eli Lilly Medicinal, Scale up and Analytical Chemistry teams. During his time on the Eli Lilly site, Simon worked on individual projects before moving onto an independent synthetic hub team that operated on multiple projects at different stages simultaneously. Now, as an Application Scientist at Torx Software, Simon focuses on Torx Make™ and Torx Test™.

Tim Cheeseright, Chief Executive Officer

Building on a DPhil in synthetic chemistry and industrial experience in medicinal and computational chemistry, Tim has been delivering cutting edge solutions to drug discovery organizations for 20 years. His drive to streamline processes and shorten development times for chemistry assets led to the founding of Torx Software.
